In the natural world around us, we can find a wide range of normal and natural variation--including gender and sex variation. Sometimes, one of the most healing things that a transgender or gender expansive person can do is to find community and see representation in the natural world.
This 3-week therapy group for pre-teens (9-12 years old) includes a full-hour intake session beforehand with their family, and a full-hour debrief session with their family afterwards. In the groups, we will lean into the realm of normal and natural variation while exploring topics of belonging, self-expression, and safety in relationships for pre-teens who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, or gender expansive.
Participants can expect to spend time with horses, in the woods, and doing creative expression with writing and art.
Limited to 6 participants, in accordance with our current COVID-19 policies (to see these policies, you can go to www.naturalwisdomcounseling.com)
Register by Friday, July 3rd.
Facilitated by Jess Dallman, MA LPC NCC and Elizabeth Seeliger, AuD.
