LPC Supervision
Jessica Dallman is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Supervision is available for individuals pursuing LPC licensure in Wisconsin. This may be particularly appealing to those who work with the LGBTQ2IA+ population and/or the Deaf/deaf/hard of hearing population, as well as for those who are interested in wilderness therapy, equine therapy, social justice counseling, and/or trauma. Supervision is often a personal and profound experience that expands your capacity both inside and outside of the office.
reflective consultation
Initially developed in the interdisciplinary field of Infant Mental Health, reflective consultation is a form of Professional Development that serves to enhance business relationships, professional partnerships, service provision, etc. By engaging with a professional's emotional skills and interpersonal experiences, reflective consultation ensures that concrete skills are executed most effectively, taking best practices to a higher level.
Schools
Do you want more information about making your school deaf-friendly or more supportive for LGBTQIA+ students and staff? Do you want a workshop on issues of diversity and allyship? Are you interested in how to incorporate nature or movement into your curriculum? Set up a consultation or workshop for your school!
IFSP and IEP meetings
Before pursuing counseling as a career, Jess was a special education teacher, which gave her personal experience in running IEP meetings and writing the IEP itself. If your child is receiving support services through an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), including a mental health professional can help ensure that social and emotional goals are appropriately addressed by the team. Jess offers consultation regarding deaf and hard-of-hearing children, LGBTQ2IA+ children, social justice and diversity issues, trauma, and children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Guest Lectures
I am passionate about a multitude of topics and the synthesis of different fields. Please contact me if you are interested in a guest lecture regarding any topic on my website. My most recent guest lectures were at Naropa University and CU Denver regarding 1) gender/sexuality, and 2) working with suicidal clients and your Shadow.
Conferences
I am a member of various organizations and seek to present at conferences regularly. Upcoming presentations at conferences can be viewed in my list of Upcoming Events.
