If your intention word for 2023 is Connection, Creativity, or Self-Awareness, attending Natural Wisdom Counseling’s winter 4 Elements workshop series is where you begin! With an emphasis on relational, nature-based and expressive art practices, attendees may participate in experiences that foster mental health and well-being. This series will draw lessons about resilience and connection from the lessons of the four primary elements: Earth, Fire, Water and Air. While each session relates to the one before, participants may attend some or all six of the sessions. Each program offers a brief discussion on elemental applications, a related question for contemplation, and an engaging nature-inspired art experience. We will emphasize the creative process over the product.
You do NOT need to be artistic!
Are you…
living in a state of stress?
struggling with a short fuse?
suffering from chronic exhaustion?
feeling bored, stuck, or uninspired?
What if the resources you need to find peace, clarity and joy already exist inside of you? Come to this session to learn a little about the neuroscience of wellness. Nature and animals (horses, chickens, dogs and/or cats) can be important allies on the journey to joy and embodiment. Art can be a powerful tool for integration and self-expression. If you would like to learn more about the mental health and wellness work that is happening at Snapdragon Farm & Stables this is a perfect way to experience it for yourself. This session will also include an overview of the remaining classes in the workshop series.
· Contemplation Question: What does my body tell me about my state of mental well-being?
