• TIME: Please register for the morning session (9:30am to noon) if your children are in the 8-12 year old age range. Please register for the afternoon session (1pm to 3:30pm) if you have teens. If you have both younger and older children, choose the option in which you think your children would do best. Each family should sign up for only one session so that as many families as possible can benefit.

Join Jessica Dallman, MA LPC NCC and Elizabeth Seeliger, for a fun introduction to equine facilitated psychotherapy for families with children who are adopted, in foster care, or in kinship care.
Jess is a counselor and equine therapist who specializes is trauma recovery and relationship issues. Jess also co-parents an internationally adopted 15 year old.
Elizabeth is an adult adoptee and parent of a child who is adopted, as well as a graduate from the Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies.
Both Jess and Elizabeth are endorsed in Infant, Early Childhood, and Family Mental Health, which guides their work with families.
Together Jess and Elizabeth will support connecting with horses in order to strengthen connection with yourself, your family members, and other families with children who are adopted.
You will have the opportunity to experience hands-on games, activities, and art projects that will support communication, empathy, deepening relationships, and a sense of community.
